| Uses: Dimethyl Ether has found commercial use as a refrigerant. It has as a solvent, as an extraction agent, a propellant in aerosols, and fuel in welding cutting and brazing. Readily form complexes with inorganic compounds, e.g., boron trifluoride. It is an excellent methylating agent in the dye industry. |
