Uses: Hydrogen Fluoride - HF - is used to prepare fluorides, to manufacture fluorine, as a catalyst in isomerization, condensation, dehydration and hydrolysis reactions. It is also used in the etching and polishing of glass, andin the manufacture of aluminum fluoride.
